For over 100 years, the Little Sisters of the Poor cared for hundreds of souls within the walls of Mullen Home. After the Little Sisters left, it caused the property to revert to ownership by the Archdiocese of Denver. It is a beloved staple in the West Highland neighborhood with many concerned about what comes next. While long-term plans are in the works, the immediate need created by the arrival of migrant families caused the Archdiocese and the City and County of Denver to explore a short-term project to help house them. The Archdiocese is compelled to continue the legacy of love, joy, and sense of belonging created by the Little Sisters. As God reminds us, we share our blessings to help those in need any way we can.
